What is a Chamber Ambassador?
Ambassadors are people who serve as representatives of the Chamber. They make sure that the needs of the current members are being met through visits and calls. They also work to recruit new members for the Chamber by going out into the community and educating local business owners and managers about all the wonderful benefits of a chamber membership.
What are the responsibilities and duties of a Chamber Ambassador?
Attend Monthly Chamber Business Breakfast, BASH, Ribbon Cuttings, Ground Breakings and the other Chamber Events. Solicit new membership, deliver new member packets, assist in membership renewals and make public relation calls and visit members. Refer possible sponsor and event participants to the Chamber staff. Assis with mentoring new members and inviting them to chamber events and introducing them to other chamber members.
How can I be a Chamber Ambassador?
There is an application process every November to select the new Ambassadors for the following year.
