Member Benefits

Retains a strong business base and maintains the quality of services Jackson County offers its residents
Provides Membership List to members and non-members. This gives you local and regional exposure.
Acts as your legislative advocate and voice in decisions that affect your business on the local and state level through the Governmental Affairs Committee.
Provides quality networking events and activities with our weekly Monday Morning PowerHour, monthly breakfast meetings, luncheons, Business and Social Hour, Open House, and Annual Taste of Jackson & Business Showcase.
Provides educational partnership between schools and businesses, for example, the Career Fair for 8th grade students. Every business has the opportunity to be a Partner In Education, a program organized through the Chamber.
Communicates with it's members, and the community as a whole, through TGIF (Timely and Good Information on Friday), our mass email updates, and our website
Hosts Annual Awards Banquet, Chamber Chili Cook-Off (every other year), Business and Social Hours, Monthly Breakfast, Golf Tournament, and the Annual Taste of Jackson & Business Showcase.
Offers Advertising restricted to Chamber Members ONLY, in Chamber publications, such as our Jackson County Community Guide Magazine, Jackson County Maps, and Website. As well as sponsorship opportunities for different events.
Serves its members through a locally staffed office at 270 Athens Street in Jefferson, GA
Members come first by receiving early notification of Chamber sponsored events
Promotes Member Business, long-time residents, as well as new-comers, contact the Chamber office when they require a particular product or service. We make it a practice to refer members. Members can also provide a promotional coupon or advertisement to be included in Newcomer packets mailed out by the Chamber office.
Discount Health Insurance such as Blue Cross Blue Shield available to Chamber members through Purchasing Alliance Solutions.
Provides Internet Exposure through the Chamber web page and can link directly to your website.
Offers mailing labels and lists to Chamber members. Mailing labels can be supplied for a nominal charge or emailed in pdf. format at no charge for members.
Provides Education for Chamber Members through workshops, seminars, forums, etc
Works with mayors and city councils of the nine different municipalities and the county commissioners' office on issues that affect the business community.
Offers Committee participation for Chamber volunteers. This is the strength of the Chamber. YOUR involvement will benefit your business by making you more visable in the business community and by increasing your business contacts.
Economic Development offers opportunity for support of Economic Development in Jackson County.
Board of Advisors allows members an avenue for valuable input on critical Chamber and community issues with quarterly meetings with the Chamber Board of Directors.
