The Chamber's Tourism Development Council (TDC) meets the 4th Tuesday of every month at the Chamber in Jefferson at 3:30pm and is open to all Chamber members interested in developing tourism in the Jackson County community.
MISSION:
The mission of the Jackson County Tourism Council is to develop and nurture sustainable tourism for economic prosperity and enhance the image of our community.
Goals:
Develop an Antiques Trail Brochure/rack card to be placed in all the welcome centers in the state and in all other locations where tourism information is distributed. GOAL ACCOMPLISHED! Back of rack card with map
Develop a comprehensive inventory list of all marketable tourism products in Jackson County. GOAL ACCOMPLISHED (but will always be a work in progress.) INVENTORY LIST
Develop a Community Calendar of Events in one location where anyone can locate events happening in the county. Goal in progress

Conduct a feasibility/marketing research study to understand the people we are marketing to. Long term goal
