The First Annual Women in Business Luncheon was held on October 15, 2008 at the Jefferson Civic Center at 12 noon.  The guest speaker was Dr. Shirley Garrett, the author of the best selling book, A Tap Water Girl In a Bottled Water World.    The Woman of the Year Award heralds the past and present achievements of an outstanding woman in Jackson County.   This years Woman of the Year is Martha Martin, President of Phil-Mart Transportation.  Congratulations Martha!!!!   Over 170 people attended the served plated lunch.  A special thank you goes to all the sponsors who made this event possible with their constant support of the Chamber and Women In Busniness.
