Women In Business Annual Luncheon

AND THE WINNER IS.....

" DEE LAVENDER"

The Second Annual Women in Business Luncheon was held on November 18, 2009 at the Jackson EMC Auditorium at 12 noon. The guest speaker was Courtney Gale, the Clarke County Police Officer that was viciously attacked by a man with a butcher knife on December 11, 2007 and lived to tell her amazing story. The Woman of the Year Award heralds the past and present achievements of an outstanding woman in Jackson County. This years Woman of the Year is Dee Lavender, Vice President of Hometown Community Bank. Congratulations Dee!!!! Around 200 people attended the luncheon. A special thank you goes to all the sponsors who made this event possible with their constant support of the Chamber and Women In Busniness.
