Contest for 2010. A prize of $500 will be awarded to the

Jefferson Community Theatre is proud to announce an upcoming production of "Show and
S-P-E-L-L". Show dates are July 22,
23, & 24 at 7:30pm and July 25 at 2:30pm. All performances
will be held at the William Duncan Martin Performing Arts Center
located at Jefferson High School. Ticket prices are $10 General
Admission and $7 Seniors. There will be a Dessert &
Show ticket for $15. Those tickets are good for Friday and
Saturday night only. Dessert and coffee will be served
immediately following the show at the Gingham Gal Café in Downtown

Be a CASA volunteer ("Court Appointed Special
Advocate") and experience the
fulfillment of helping a child in need! Classes begin on
Tuesday, August 17 at 6:00 p.m. and continue each Tuesday through
September. After completing training, you will be
assigned to a child in foster care who needs someone to be their
voice in Juvenile Court. You will gather information and form a
relationship with your assigned child, visiting them
monthly. The average time commitment is 5-10 hours per
